Hello friends, We are starting a new course with these simple, fast and effective booties, very useful for keeping our babies’ little feet warm this fall-winter.
These boots can be made in a single color or colors can be combined in each of its parts: sole, body and hem. In addition, we can also complement them with buttons, bows and other decorations, customizing them to our liking.
To make these booties I have used acrylic yarn suitable for 4.5 – mm needles, with a 4.5 mm needle. The sole measurement I have obtained is 9 cm long, suitable for babies 0-3 months. To make larger sizes we can try to make the same pattern with a 5 mm needle, or add a couple of chain stitches at the beginning.
Here I show you the video step by step to weave these cute little boots
Make a chain of 11 stitches. This chain will be the base of your first bootie. After you make it, you can go back and start a single crochet stitch on it. Continue crocheting around the bottom of the bootie with single crochet stitches per set.
You should have 24 points at the end of the first series.
Crochet two chain stitches and then join them with half double crochet. Then, crochet 12 half double crochet followed by two stitches with half double crochet each. Then, crochet a single half double crochet in the next 12 stitches, continuing with two more half double crochets in each. Join this series with a slip stitch above the beginning of the series.
You should have 36 points at the end of this series.
The explanation is in the video.
